Why This Site Exists

St. George is Washington County's seat, yet its records are not stored in one county-seat database. The Recorder/Surveyor indexes deeds, liens, plats, and surveys. The Assessor and GIS viewers handle current parcel facts, while the Clerk/Auditor manages elections and marriage licensing. Utah Courts publishes the statewide Xchange party search. Vital certificates split between the local health department, state office, county clerk, and courts by record type and date. License boards, the corporation registry, Utah Tech collections, and the State Archives add more paths. We organize those official sources by the question each one can answer.

Limits of Our Role

This is a privately operated reference site. We are not part of St. George City, Washington County, the State of Utah, any court, or any records office. Those boundaries affect what we can do:

• We do not retrieve, certify, amend, or seal records for anyone
